Lucky Labrador

The fun loving, frolicking, family oriented Labrador of today hails from Canada, and is currently the most popular dog breed in the U.S.

The breeds origins however come from Newfoundland where they worked with fisherman to help bring in the days catch by helping to pull in the nets.

This breed is a well rounded mix of other retrievers, and setters which has given the breed intelligence, warm personalities, and versatility. Labs are used as wonderful hunting dogs, retrievers, guide dogs for the blind, narcotics dogs, or for search and rescue. Not to mention his temperament makes him a wonderful family pet.
